What are your chains and charms made of?

 

All Astral Oracle chains are 18k gold-plated over a durable base metal, usually brass. They are Tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic.

Charms are individually sourced and may be plated in 18k, 14k, or 24k gold, depending on the design.

Gems are high-quality cubic zirconia chosen for clarity and brilliance.

 


How do I care for gold plated jewelry?

 

Treat each piece as you would a small talisman, with intention and gentleness.

To preserve the plating:

  • Avoid water, perfume, lotions, and sweat
  • Remove before showering or sleeping
  • Store in a soft pouch or its altar box
  • Wipe gently with a cloth after wear
  • Avoid friction from sweaters, scarves, or bag straps
  • Keep pieces separate to prevent scratches

Gold plating can wear over time, especially with frequent wear. Proper care extends its life significantly.


Are your pieces hypoallergenic?

 

Most pieces are plated over nickel-free, lead-free metals and are generally safe for sensitive skin.

However, if you have a severe metal allergy, please reach out before purchasing and I can confirm the exact materials for you.

How do I care for resin pieces?

 

Resin is durable but not indestructible.

Your resin talisman will last longest when treated like a miniature heirloom.

Care guide:

  • Keep resin away from prolonged direct sunlight (can cause yellowing over many years)
  • Store in a cool, dry place
  • Avoid leaving pieces in hot cars or near heat sources
  • Do not submerge in water
  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth
  • Avoid alcohol, acetone, or harsh cleaners
  • Avoid dropping or heavy pressure resin can scratch or crack under force

Each resin piece is handcrafted in small batches; small variations, swirls, or microscopic bubbles are part of its character.

Will my resin piece change color over time?

With proper care, resin stays beautiful for years.

All pieces are made with premium, non-yellowing resin and UV inhibitors, but long exposure to harsh sunlight or heat can still affect the finish.

Do you accept returns?

Do you offer gift cards?

 

Not at this time. I hope to offer them in the near future. If you’d like to gift a piece, feel free to include a note at checkout and I’ll package it with intention.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Astral Oracle ships worldwide.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

International customers may be charged duties, VAT, import taxes, or handling fees by their country’s customs agency. These fees are not charged by Astral Oracle and must be paid by the customer.

US Tariffs & Pricing

I know the cost of living has risen everywhere, and I want to acknowledge that upfront. I never want anyone to feel surprised or discouraged by pricing. Because of increased US tariffs and cross-border import costs affecting all small businesses, a 35% tariff recovery fee is included in US pricing.

I wish I could absorb these fees myself, truly. But right now it’s simply not possible for a one-person studio. I’m sharing this openly so you know exactly why the price looks different for US customers, and so nothing feels hidden or unclear.

There should not be any other fees upon receiving your order as they will be paid at the time it is shipped as per post office regulations.


Import Duties & Border Fees

Orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, VAT, handling fees, or other charges issued by your local customs office. These fees are not included in the price of your order and must be paid by the customer upon delivery.

Astral Oracle does not collect or determine these charges and cannot modify, predict, or remove them. Customs policies vary widely between countries; for specific information, please contact your local customs office.
